Vessel Description:
1935 Carvel-Planked Wooden Heritage Cruiser - This is a carvel planked wood-constructed vessel that was built by Fenner & Hood Shipyards in Vancouver, BC.
It features a raked stem, rounded bilges with a full length keel and a curved transom. The deck, hull and superstructure are white with black bottom paint. This vessel has a large foredeck with anchor windlass followed the converted main salon. The wheelhouse structure and bulwarks structures are aluminum. There are open side decks and an aft cockpit with lazarette hatch. The sundeck is accessed via the wheelhouse and has a tender crane and storage. The master stateroom is forward along with the master head. Aft there are guest staterooms. The main salon and galley are on the main deck. This vessel is powered by a single 365 HP Cummins Turbo marine diesel.
Cabin:
From the stem on the lower deck there is a storage room followed by the master head to port with standalone shower to starboard. The master stateroom is just aft. Aft of the master stateroom the engine room is located mid ship with the 2 guest staterooms further aft. There is a guest head and shower to port in the guest area. The main deck has the settee forward and stair access to the wheelhouse to starboard. There is a large settee to port with the galley just aft in the center of the vessel. There is an additional salon aft of the galley. Access to the lower decks is by stairs on the starboard side in the forward and aft salons. This vessel is very nicely outfitted with craftsman quality finishing.
