Le GIB SEA 43 du chantier DUFOUR a été dessiné par le cabinet J&J Design sous l’impulsion d’Olivier Poncin avec comme objectif d’offrir le plus haut niveau de confort et d’autonomie dans sa catégorie. Pensé pour la vie à bord, il est très habitable et propose de nombreux rangements grâce à sa grande largeur. Son tirant d’eau modéré  lui donne accès à tous les mouillages. Pour autant sa carène en fait un bon marcheur au prè, très agréable à barrer.  Le cockpit est lui aussi idéal pour la croisière avec ses 2 barres à roue qui dégagent le passage vers la jupe arrière et la très grande table à battants repliables. Un bateau où il fait bon vivre et partir à la découverte des atolls.

Ce voilier a fait du charter jusqu'en 2008 ou le propriétaire actuel en a prit possession et naviguer dans les Antilles puis rapporter au Lac Champlain en 2008. Il a fait une autre saison vers par la suite aux Antilles puis retour au lac Champlain en eau douce.  Pavillon Canadien et taxes Canadiennes non payées

The GIB SEA 43 from the DUFOUR shipyard was designed by the J&J Design firm under the impetus of Olivier Poncin with the aim of offering the highest level of comfort and autonomy in its category. Designed for life on board, it is very habitable and offers plenty of storage space thanks to its large width. Its moderate draft gives it access to all anchorages. However, its hull makes it a good upwind walker, very pleasant to steer.  The cockpit is also ideal for cruising with its 2 steering wheels that clear the passage to the aft apron and the very large folding table. A boat where it is good to live and discover the atolls.

This sailboat chartered until 2008 when the current owner took possession of it and sailed in the West Indies and brought back to Lake Champlain in 2008. He did another season later in the West Indies and then back to Lake Champlain in freshwater.  Canadian Flag and Unpaid Canadian Taxes
