Built in Thorel Shipyard at St-Lambert de Levis, Quebec, in 1985 by Guy Deberteau.

Moana 1 is a Chatam 33 designed by a naval architect Gilbert Karoff.

The hull is in steel for safety and durability.

Two inches of urethane foam insulation was added to the interior of the hull to make it quiet and comfortable in cold and hot weather.

The interior solid teak was built by Gilles Bastien from St-Paul Ile aux Noix.

A true work of art.

Complete refit off all systems in 2006.

Moana 1 was totaly repainted in September 2011

Moana 1 is Canadian flagged with a hailing port of Montreal, Quebec.
