These days it is very difficult to find a Sea Ray 280 Sundancer with 10' 6" beam. When you find one that has been kept in such good shape , hesitation is not an option.

Smooth-running express introduced in 1989 met Sea Ray

promise of lasting value for the money. Generic midcabin

interior with large galley, convertible dinette sleeps six.

Space-efficient cockpit features double helm seat with aft-facing

seat, foldaway rear seat, transom door. Bow pulpit, cockpit bolsters,

ice chest, were standard. Privacy curtains separate forward

berth from salon—great for cruising with friends. Twin 205hp Mer-

Cruiser sterndrives cruise in the mid 20s( about 30 knots top).

Accommodations

The extra wide beam of the 280 Sundancer provides extra large, comfortable sleeping areas, both in the forward V Berth, and the aft berth. The salon sofa is also long enough to sleep one person comfortably, and two more folks could easily sleep in the spacious cockpit on an Air Mattress.

The entire cockpit can be enclosed with the (Camper) Canvas with screens.
